[21:43] Separement - Day 5
We made it! Last day of bachelordom so we cleaned up a little more and the house is looking pretty nice! Got up at 0715 and folded all the washing after reading a couple of TruckTown stories. Had Cheerios, blueberries, beerwurst and Wallaby yoghurt for breakfast then headed to the park for some exercise. Met Sammy over there and did some snack sharing then headed to the shops to top up the snack supplies. Came home and had lunch, the last of the pasta (Shona's getting back just in time) and some watermelon then hit the sack at 12:15. Woke up at 1345 and were doing some last minute vacuuming when Gabe notice what appeared to be a flood on the other side of the road so we went to check it out. It was the Mountain View Public Services Division flushing either a hydrant or the water mains so we watched that for a while and then we noticed that the construction work going on next-door had leaked out onto the street so we watched a Front-End Loader assisting some folks to cover a hole they'd dug in the road and digging up what used to be driveways and dropping it in a flat-bed truck for removal. Once the excitement died down we went to get some flowers then headed to SFO to meet Shona.
